CONCEPT NOTE

The flourishing era of innovation in past score years has given mankind a security to guard their creation that is innovative, unique and industrially utilitarian to the world and for the same, patents have furnished a pathway for these ideas to be protected against any misuse by unauthorised individuals.

The last decade has witnessed an expansion of patents being registered in India which has grown leaps and bounds. Government policies have laid stress on providing protection to intellectual property such as granting patents to promote and encourage technological innovation.

The one week workshop endeavors to deliberate upon patents and their know-how; inculcating knowledge and the law that it embodies. Scope of invention has broadened so much so that patent does not only hold significance to people associated with law in particular but to all those who are directly and indirectly related to innovation and technology which has become an inseparable fragment of human civilization.

Progress is impossible without change and change demands both creativity and innovation, With the advent of new technology and innovation comes unknown threats that manage to get into loopholes very smoothly. Thus, to safeguard your invention and rights, patents hold a significant role.
