Eligibility and Experience
0-3 years Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
LL.B. (LL.M. from reputed universities would be counted as 1 year PQE)
Roles and Responsibilities
It is multidisciplinary role for contentious issues. The primary practice areas are as under:
- Trade Remedies (anti-dumping, subsidies and safeguards);
- Ad-hoc and institutional arbitrations;
- Government Affairs (advice to various departments of Government of India on varies subject matter);
- Constitutional litigation before High Courts related to GST, local taxes, incentives by state governments, mining, land acquisition, etc.;
- WTO laws;
- Customs and regulatory laws.
Role Demands
Mandatory
- Sound understanding of fundamentals of law;
- Exceptional drafting skills;
- Eye for details.
Advantageous
- Advanced understanding of international trade laws;
- Advanced understanding of High Court practice and procedure;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to analyse large excel files).
