APPLICATION FEE:
An application fee of Rs. 1,000/- (Rs.750/- for SC/ST) shall be paid online (RTGS/NEFT) in favor of Registrar, National Law University Tripura, Account No: 41337544513, SBI Usha bazar branch. IFSC code SBIN00018742. The online payment receipt must also be attached as an annexure with the Application form. Application fee is not refundable. Applications received without proof of payment of application fee will be rejected. Candidates applying for more than one post should apply in separate application for each post along with the fee prescribed.

Application should be downloaded from NLU Tripura website www.nlutripura.ac.in. Filled in application
form with all the supporting annexure and application fee payment proof must be emailed to
[email protected] on or before 10th May 2023.(11:59PM) Applicants must also submit or
send physical copy of filled in application form with all supporting documents to REGISTRAR, NATIONAL
LAW UNIVERSITY TRIPURA, NARSINGARH, AGARTALA-799015 LATEST BY 10th May 2023 (05:00PM). The
University shall not be responsible for any postal delays.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The prescribed qualifications and experience are minimum and the mere fact that a candidate possesses the same will not entitle him / her for being called for interview. The University reserves the right to restrict the candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed; or by any other condition that it may deem fit. Those who are possessing higher qualifications will be given preference in shortlisting the candidates. The University may constitute a Screening Committee to scrutinize the applications and short-list the candidates. Call letters for interview will be sent only to the shortlisted candidates and no correspondence will be entertained with applicants who are not shortlisted.
2. The candidates are advised to clearly identify their subject specialization as the University will keep the specializations in mind while short listing the candidates as per its requirements.
3. The Selection Committee may relax any of the qualifications, experience etc.
4. The University on the recommendation of the Selection Committee may offer a lower post to a candidate who may have applied for a higher post depending on his/her performance in the Selection Committee for the advertised posts.
5. Canvassing in any form on behalf of any candidate will disqualify such a candidate.
6. The Selection Committee may decide its own method of evaluating the performance of the candidates in interview. The University may conduct written test / skill test or seminar / colloquium / mock class as method of selection and there will be short listing after every stage.
7. Applications incomplete in any respect shall not be considered at all.
8. No interim queries regarding test / interview / selection will be entertained.
9. The University reserves the right to fill all the positions advertised or fill only some of the positions or not to fill any of the positions.
10. The University may offer contractual positions in place of regular positions either on UGC Pay Scales or on consolidated salary.
11. University will make all correspondence only through email.
12. In case of any disputes / suits or legal proceedings against the University, the Jurisdiction shall be restricted to the Courts in Agartala, which is the Headquarter of the University.
13. SC & ST candidates from States other than Tripura shall be treated as Unreserved Candidate.
14. Candidates already in service should route their application through proper channel or submit No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of interview. However the advance copy of the application may be sent directly with in the stipulated time
