Call for Papers: Inaugural Annual Conference of TIAC Journal of International Dispute Settlement (TJIDS)

The Organising Committee of Uzbek Arbitration Week (UzAW) and the Editorial team of TIAC Journal of International Dispute Settlement welcome submissions for the TJIDS Inaugural Conference scheduled to hold (in-person/hybrid) for one day during UzAW from 10-15 September 2023.

The theme for the inaugural conference is “Dispute Settlement: The Past, Present and Future Dimensions”. We welcome submissions in any area related to dispute settlement/resolution, more especially those connected to the theme of the conference. Indicative themes may include:

1. Dispute settlement and emerging technologies (including AI)
2. Cross-institutional cooperation in administering arbitral proceedings
3. Central Asia as an international dispute resolution center
4. Mediation and multi-tier dispute resolution

Submission:

Those wishing to present should submit an abstract of 500 words by 31st May 2023 to [email protected].

Prospective presenters will be notified of the outcome by 12th June 2023. The authors of successful abstracts will be required to submit the full paper of 4000-5000 words by 11:59pm GMT, 11th August 2023. By submitting the full paper, authors agree to grant priority right for publication to TIAC Journal of International Dispute Settlement (TJIDS). The authors will be invited to register for both the conference and UzAW2023. When registering for the conference, the authors can indicate whether they intend to present virtually.
