About the opportunity:

Academic Positions
We welcome applications for full-time appointments at any of the following levels:
Professor: This tenured position is for outstanding academics with an international reputation as leaders in their fields in both research and education.
Associate Professor: This tenured position is for mid-level academics who have demonstrated sustained excellence in both research and education.
Assistant Professor: This entry-level position is normally for a four-year period (which may be extended) and where the appointee is placed on the tenure track. Candidates should be academically strong and are generally expected to have a doctorate in law or another discipline. Candidates must also demonstrate potential for excellence as educators and researchers.

Candidates with minimal or no experience in academia should consider instead of the Sheridan
Fellowship.

Applicants should attach evaluations on education from faculty members or students of the applicant’s current institution, where applicable.
3 A statement (maximum of 3 pages) of major accomplishments in research, citing up to five (5) significant publications and explaining their significance. Please provide copies of up to three (3) of these contributions (in the case of books, reviews should be provided). For junior appointments, please provide transcripts of coursework leading to the highest degree(s) attained.
4 A complete list of publications, including page number ranges.
5 For applicants for appointment to Associate Professor or Professor with tenure, a list of six (6) external reviewers, their mailing and email addresses and one-page biography must be provided. For applicants for appointment to Assistant Professor, a list of three (3) external reviewers, their mailing and email addresses and one-page biography must be provided. The applicant’s relationship to the reviewer (if any) must be indicated. The external reviewer should not be the applicant’s co-author or co-editor.
