School of Law, IILM University, Greater Noida is organizing a Students’ Conference on Writ Jurisdiction and the Judiciary in India Experiences of 75 Years of Constitutionalism and Dignified Citizenship on 20th May 2023 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm and a Workshop from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm.
The object of the conference is to discuss and evaluate the scope of the Indian Judiciary, 75 years of Constitutionalism, and Dignified Citizenship as a token gesture to celebrate India’s G20 Leadership and aims at Students of Law interacting with Leading Advocates and understanding Philosophy of Writs; Legislations on Fundamental Rights; Contribution of Judiciary in the Advancement of Fundamental Rights; Nature and Kinds of Writs; Jurisdiction of High Courts; Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of India; Public Interest Litigation; and Satisfaction of the People as Aspirants of the Rule of Law.
The Conference is followed by a Workshop in which the students will get the opportunity to learn and know about Drafting of writs, Documentation and Evidencing, Social Evidence and Impact Assessment.
