About the Opportunity

The 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development, adopted by all the United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries – developed and developing – in a global partnership.

They recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand-inhand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests.

The first International Conference on “Fostering Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – New Dimensions and Dynamics” Organized by Kristu Jayanti College of Law, will take place as a determinative effort as the countdown towards 2030 continues.

As we near the half-way point to the 2030 agendas and struggle to navigate through the aftermath of Covid-19 pandemic, the world needs ideas to accelerate progress. In this framework, academic institutions have a crucial role to play as the next seven years will determine the success of the SDG initiative.

This conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, faculty and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of sustainable development
