Studies Institute is pleased nnounce a Call for Papers for
the 1st Rese be beld at Ospabrück University ean Legal Studies. which will
on 30 November and 1 December 2023 on the occasion of the Institute’s 20th anniversary. Forum is dedicated to interdisciplinary and legal scholarship focusing on current topics and developments in various fields of law in the European Union. We are currently seeking submissions from PhD students, Postdocs and junior faculty interested in presenting papers at the Forum,
The deadline for submissions is 31 July 2023.
They invite submissions on any topic related to EU law and the interplay between EU law and national law. Potential topics include (but are not limited to):
European Constitutional Law
European Private Law European Consumer Law European Platform Requlation
European Regulation of Artificial Intelligence European Administrative Law European Legal History
A jury of accomplished scholars with expertise in the particular topic will select the papers to be presented. Travel expenses of presenters will be reimbursed up to 500 EUR. For jointly authored submissions travel expenses of one presenter will be covered.
Participants in the Forum are also invited to attend the Institute’s 20h anniversary celebration, which will be held in the afternoon of 1 December 2023. Keynote speakers at this event will be Pascal Pichonnaz (President of the European Law Institute), Christian von Bar and Jens-Peter Schneider (Founders of the European Legal Studies Institute).
Electronic submissions with an abstract in English of no more than 300 words should be sent to the institute [[email protected]]. Please remove all references to the author(s) in the paper. Please include in the text of the email a cover note listing your name, the title of your paper, and the general topic under which your paper falls. We will notify applicants as soon as practical after the deadine whether their papers have been selected.
