CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS || Law & Geoeconomics (L&G) reviewed journal!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS || Law & Geoeconomics (L&G) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that seeks to provide a platform for an emerging multidisciplinary scholarly community to rigorously analyze and debate the relationship between law and geoeconomics and its implications for world politics. Our Editorial Board consists of distinguished scholars drawn widely from across the humanities and social sciences, and our remit is similarly pluralist, welcoming contributions of all theoretical and methodological approaches, from scholars working in or at the intersection of a diverse range of disciplines, including political science, law, international relations, economics, history, geography, and sociology.

CORE THEMES FOR THE INAUGURAL ISSUE
For the inaugural issue, we invite submissions that explore the core concepts and themes that motivate the journal: the role of law in conditioning the use of geoeconomic power, and the role of geoeconomic power in the formation, enforcement, and systematic variation of laws and norms that govern the global economy. We welcome conceptual, theoretical, and/or empirical papers that employ qualitative, quantitative and/or critical approaches. We especially welcome contributions that address one or more of the following topics:

1. The ‘geo’ in geoeconomics.

2. The implications of geoeconomics for international economic order.

3. The past, present, or future governance of geoeconomic competition.

4. Law and the role of sub- or non-state actors (such as courts, municipal governments, lawyers, or corporate actors) in geoeconomics.

5. The legal design, implementation, and enforcement of geoeconomic policies in comparative perspective.

6. The implications of legal culture for geoeconomic power and vulnerability.
