About The Organization

The Indian Law Institute [ILI] – set up on 27th December, 1956 is an International Centre for advanced socio-legal research and has done significant work in the field of legal research, education and training. It has made notable contribution in the legal arena. Besides performing important advisory role in fostering the empirical research and making law as an instrument of social engineering, it undertakes research on current legal issues. 

Kamkus College of Law is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and recognized by the Bar council of India.The college offers quality education at post graduate & under-Graduate level in the form of LL.M. (2 Year), LL.B. (3 Years), B.A.LL.B. (5 Years) and B.COM. LL.B. (5 Years) courses for which it has received affiliation form Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut and approved by Bar Council of India.

The Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi and Kamkus College of Law (KCL), Ghaziabad are jointly organizing a one-day workshop on “Use of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Teaching and Research” on July 18, 2023 at the Indian Law Institute (ILI), New Delhi. The workshop seeks to acquaint law teachers and researchers from diverse institutions with the concept of AI and its application in legal academia. The primary objective is to explore and deliberate on the potential utilization of AI tools in legal teaching and research.

  • Theme: Artificial Intelligence In Legal Teaching And Research
  • Objective:
    • Introduce participants to the fundamentals of AI and its application in academia;
    • Showcase how AI can be utilized for legal research, including tasks like data collection, analysis, visualization, and interpretation;
    • Demonstrate how AI can enhance legal teaching, covering aspects such as curriculum design, content delivery, assessment, and feedback;
    • Offer hands-on experience with AI tools and techniques applicable to legal teaching and research; and
    • Encourage participants to engage in a discussion about the opportunities and challenges associated with incorporating AI in legal academia.
