Call for Papers! International Conference on Contemporary Developments in Arbitration – 10-11th August, 2023!

The Centre for Alternate Dispute Resolution (CADR) of DY Patil School of Law, Navi Mumbai, in association with LexisNexis, District Legal Service Authority, YOUNG MCIA (Mumbai Centre For International Arbitration), and APCAM (Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration & Mediation), Knowledge Thrust, is pleased to announce the  International Conference on Contemporary Developments in Arbitration,2023.This annual event will bring together stakeholders from diverse backgrounds to discuss pertinent topics in the field of arbitration, such as:

  •   Celebrating Women in Arbitration
  •   Maritime Arbitration
  •  Best Practices & Techniques for Conducting Arbitration

The conference will feature keynote addresses by leading experts in the field, as well as panel discussions and workshops. It will be an excellent opportunity for attendees to learn about the latest developments in arbitration, network with other professionals, and share ideas. We also bring you an opportunity for PAPER PRESENTATIONS.
The conference will be held on August 10-11, 2023, at the DY Patil University campus in Navi Mumbai. Registration is now open.

The CADR is a leading center for the study and practice of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). It offers a variety of programs and services, including training courses, mediation and arbitration services, and research and publications. The CADR is committed to promoting the use of ADR as a fair, efficient, and cost-effective way to resolve disputes.

The District Legal Service Authority is a government agency that provides legal aid to the poor and marginalized. APCAM is an international organization that provides training and support for arbitration practitioners in the Asia Pacific region.

Registration Details:

The International Conference is open to all. The last date to register is 31st July 2023, at 11:59 pm. The registration fee is Rs. 700/-.without paper presentation and Rs. 1000/- with paper presentation.

Note: No registrations beyond the following deadline will be entertained.

Last Date for Submission of Abstracts- 31st July 2023
Communication of Abstract Selection-1st August 2023

A payment link for Paper Presentation will be sent after the selection of abstracts. The top selected papers shall be published in an edited book as chapters.

Kindly note that no TA/DA shall be given. A certificate of Participation shall be provided. The mode of participation shall be hybrid (Online/offline). The paper presentation can be done in offline mode only.
