The Faculty seeks internationally leading researchers and ground-breaking teachers who are prepared to take leadership roles within the Faculty and University. 

Based at our Tauranga Campus, you will work in a vibrant, modern Law Faculty and you will be required to demonstrate excellence and innovation in both teaching and research. The Faculty is home to the Māori and Indigenous Governance Centre, the Centre for Environmental Resources and Energy Law, the Waikato Public Law and Policy Research Unit and the Law and Technology Research Hub. 

A demonstrated record of effective high-quality teaching, innovative pedagogy and delivery methods at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and strong student support is essential. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a range of Law undergraduate and postgraduate modules, and higher research degree supervision. We are open to candidates with expertise to provide research-led teaching in Arbitration, Conflict of Laws, Commercial and Company Law in particular.

You will work closely with the dedicated Law leadership team to help continue the Faculty’s progress as a centre of teaching and research excellence. The successful candidates will also be expected to deliver innovative research-led teaching in the foundational subjects of our LLB program including Public Law, Contract Law, Criminal Law, the Law of Torts, Land Law and Legal Ethics.
