Looking for in house legal professionals for the below position in my Company Bahwan CyberTek

Job Description (Manager- Legal)- (Core Experience from IT only) – 8-10 years of PQE.

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Key Responsibilities:
1.      Contract management:
•      Review and negotiate contractual documents like Master Services Agreement (Software Development Agreements, Testing Services, Professional Services for IT & ITES), Hosting Services Agreements, Licensing support, Hardware & Software Integration Agreements, Professional Services, RFP response and Defense, sales/supply side contracts and agreements to safeguard company’s interest within a fixed turnaround time and pressure conditions;
•      Must be able to negotiate contractual terms with customers and prospective clients.
•      Apprise legal risks emanating from contracts/agreements, potential project or other internal disputes, escalations and litigations matters.
•      Ensure compliance with contractual terms, legal requirements, and company policies.
•      Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline contract processes and develop contract templates and guidelines.
•      Handle monthly and quarterly reporting to management and key stakeholders.
2.      Provide legal advice and guidance:
•      Advise the company on a wide range of legal matters, including contracts, intellectual property, data protection, privacy, employment, corporate governance, and regulatory aspects.
•      Interpret and analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions to mitigate risks while supporting business objectives.
•      Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments affecting the IT industry and provide proactive advice to the company.
•      Experience in handling India, APAC, Middle East or USA geos would have added advantage.
3.      Dispute resolution and litigation:
•      Assist in managing disputes and litigation matters, including liaising with external counsel.
•      Provide support in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration.
•      Assist in developing strategies to minimize legal exposure and achieve favorable resolutions.
4.      Stakeholder collaboration:
•      Collaborate and build strong working relationships with internal departments, external advisors, and business partners to provide comprehensive legal support.
•      Provide legal training and guidance to internal teams on legal issues, policies, and best practices.
