Aims and Scope

NIU International Journal of Human Rights, a UGC CARE listed, peer-reviewed annually published journal since 2015 seeks to provide a platform for engaging in multi-disciplinary discussions on themes of social sciences, law and humanities. The journal has a global reach and is widely read by scholars and practitioners across the world.

2023 issue of the Journal, likely to be published by September 2023 invites analytically rigorous papers, articles, comments on cases/ legislation/ policies and book pertaining to various themes related to social sciences, law and humanities.

Guidelines for Submission of Manuscripts

  • Last date of submission of Full Paper is 30th July, 2023.
  • Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of NIU IJHR will be

reviewed.

  • As part of the submission process you will be required to warrant that you are submitting your original work, that you have the rights in the work, that you are submitting the work for first publication in the Journal and that it is not being considered for publication elsewhere and has not already been published elsewhere, and that you have obtained and can supply all necessary permissions for the reproduction of any copyright works not owned by you.

Note 1. Manuscripts not conforming to these guidelines shall be returned. 2. Manuscripts received after the stipulated deadline would not be considered for re view/publication.

Article types

Manuscripts must be in English and should be submitted via the peer-review and submission system. The preferred lengths for submissions are as follows-

1 . i. Articles: 3000-5000 words: ii. Notes/Comments: 2000-2500 words;

iii. Book Reviews: 1500-2500 words.

ii. The articles should include an abstract (300-500 words).

Preparing your manuscript for submission Formatting

The preferred format for your manuscript is Word.

2. Title and Author Information: following information should be included Paper title *Author and all Co-Author(s) name *Affiliation of the institution e-mail addresses and contact details of author and all co-authors.

3. Abstract: As mentioned earlier, the manuscript should contain an abstract, which is self-contained and citation-free, having a word limit of 300-500 words.

4. Keywords: Add about four-five key words or phrases in alphabetical order, separated by comma,
