About the University
Delhi University (DU), formally the University of Delhi, is a central university located in Delhi, India. It was founded in 1922 by an Act of the Central Legislative Assembly and is recognized as an Institute of Eminence (IoE) by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Delhi University is one of the largest university systems in the world with over 400,000 students on its campuses and affiliated colleges. The university is ranked 11th by the National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023.
About the Call for Papers
The Journal provides an opportunity for legal academicians, research scholars, judges, jurists, and legal practitioners to publish original work on important contemporary areas of law.
It aims to promote discussions and awareness of current debates on law and public policy. The Editorial Board of the Delhi Journal of Contemporary Law invites Articles/ Research Papers, Notes, and Comments, Book Reviews for its forthcoming issue.
Submission Guidelines
- Articles shall be of above 4000 words (excluding footnotes and abstract).
- Notes and Comments shall not be exceeding 4000 words (excluding footnotes and
abstract). - Book Reviews shall not be less than 1500 words.
- All articles, notes and comments should provide a brief abstract of 250-300 words.
- Not more than 1 co-author.
Note: Submissions not as per guidelines will be outrightly rejected
Formatting Guidelines
- Text: Font shall be Times New Roman, Font size: 12, Spacing 1.5.
- Foot note: Font shall be Times New Roman, Font size 10, spacing 1.
- Title of the Paper: Times New Roman, Bold, Font size 14, Centre Aligned
- Abstract: Times New Roman, Font size 11
- Headings: Times New Roman, Bold, Font Size 12, Centre Aligned
- Sub-Headings: Times New Roman, Italics, Font Size 12, Left Aligned
- Bullet Points should be avoided in the text of the manuscript, small roman numbers could
be used instead.
