About Program

 1 Year Post-Doc in Program in Law for Digital Technologies

Mode:

Online + 14 days visit to SUSU/ Free accommodation

Duration: 1 year

  • October , 2023 – Welcome and Orientation Introducing participants to the program’s objectives, expectations, and resources.
  • December, 2023 – Lecture Series 1 AI and Law, ChatGPT and Large Language Models: Legal and Ethical Issues.
  • February, 2024 – Lecture Series 2 Data Privacy and Cybersecurity.
  • March, 2024- Workshop 2 Analyzing AI Regulations and Policies.
  • April, 2024 – Research Project 1 – If the paper meets the criteria, SUSU can publish it in one of its or partnering journals (incl. Scopus)
  • May, 2024 – Workshop 3 – Legal challenges on the way to Quantum Supremacy.
  • June 2024 – Research Project 2. If the paper meets the criteria, SUSU can publish it in one of its or partnering journals (incl. Scopus)
  • July, 2024 Conference (Online Mode) Presenting research findings and engaging with the wider academic and professional community.
  • August to September 2024. – Visit to South Ural State University, Russia (Mandatory) Engaging in delivering talks, and lectures, and exchanging research insights with experts at SUSU.

Assessment and Certification:

Participants will be evaluated based on their research projects, active participation in workshops and seminars, and their contributions to the program’s events.

Successful completion of the program will result in a postdoctoral certificate in Digital Technology Law from the institution.

Please note that the program structure is flexible and subject to adjustments based on participants’ interests and the evolving landscape of digital technology law.

The goal is to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment that fosters academic excellence and prepares scholars to address the legal challenges of digital technologies effectively.
