The Refugee Studies Centre within the Oxford Department of International Development is seeking to recruit a Research Assistant. Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI), the post holder will be a member of a research group with responsibility for the provision of research and administrative support for data collection, collation, analysis and workshop organisation for the ‘Newly Arrived Children: EAL and other Provisions and Policy making’ project.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s Degree and will have the ability to manage own research and administrative activities. They will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write text that can be published, present data at conferences, and represent the research group at meetings is essential to this role.

This post is part-time (15 hours/0.4 FTE) and fixed term until 20 December 2024.
