Client Details

Our client is a leading global player in the renewable energy space that owns and operates wind and solar projects

Description

  • Attend to all aspects and issues related to project development for renewable energy projects.
  • Lead project development matters for the legal team and partner with the business teams to provide mitigants for legal risks and safeguard interests of the organisation
  • Review/draft and negotiate term sheets and contractual agreements relating to project development for India and SEA markets (e.g., supply contracts, service contracts, turnkey contracts, development agreements and operations and maintenance agreements, module supply agreements, warehousing agreements, logistics agreements and related documents).
  • Review and update internal supply and services template contracts for third party contractors.
  • Periodically review the inter-group master EPC and O&M arrangements and ensure compliance.
  • Draft and finalise evacuation infrastructure usage agreements for various Group companies.
  • Review, negotiate and finalise power purchase agreements / equipment lease agreements for renewable energy projects in certain SEA markets and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders and internal clients in this regard.
  • Liaise with external counsel on land due diligence and finalisation of TSRs.

Profile

You must be an LLB with at-least 5 years of experience in Infrastructure and energy space. You must have experience working with a law firm in projects and project development. You must have great communication and stakeholder management skills.
