NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI announces the SECOND NLUD ANNUAL DOCTORAL LAW COLLOQUIUM 2024 on Contemporary Themes in Law New Delhi, 1st – 3rd March, 2024
National Law University Delhi is proud to launch the second edition of its flagship Doctoral Colloquium on Contemporary Themes in Law. This year in addition to the general track, the colloquium invites submissions for a specialised track on Corporate, Competition and Commercial Laws. The Doctoral Colloquium is open for participation to all enrolled PhD students within India. Limited support for travel and participation is envisaged this year.
About the NLUD Annual Doctoral Law Colloquium
The aim of the colloquium is to bring together PhD students undertaking research within the broad discipline of law and its adjacent fields, and provide them with a supportive and collaborative environment for exchange of ideas and to build networks with peers and experts in the field. To this end, scholars registered in non-law disciplines but working on primarily legal issues from an interdisciplinary perspective are also invited to participate.
In order to provide participants with a rich learning experience, the Colloquium will also host two panel discussions on academic research and publication. The first panel will see rich and generative discussion between seasoned scholars and prolific writers, on fundamental aspects of writing and publishing as academicians. The second panel will shift the focus to the specificities of the academic publication industry, where an editor and copy editor of a renowned publishing house will engage in a dialogue on the skills of academic publishing and its different facets.
Venue and Costs
The colloquium will take place at National Law University Delhi between 1st and 3rd March 2024. The registration fee for the colloquium is INR 500. Lunch and refreshments for the three days will be provided to all participants at NLUD.
