About the theme:
Domestic violence can be classified as a form of behaviour of violence directed by a person upon their partner in a romantic relationship. Apart from romantic relationships, it can also be found in other dynamics such as parent/child, siblings, etc. Due to the male-dominated nature of Indian society, there is adversity to the topic of men being the victims of domestic violence. Such adversity is known to stem from numerous instruments of patriarchy as a structure, one of them being the “masculine” perception of men that usually turns into a toxic trait.
What kinds of entries are published?
Authors can submit entries under the following categories:
1. Short Articles (Maximum 2500 words)
2. Photo Essays (1000-1500 words)
3. Memoirs/ Stories/ Translations (1000-1500 words)
4. Poems (Maximum 500 words) The entries must be the original work of the contributors.
The reviewers examine the originality of the papers and essays through the ideas presented and the methodology applied to the arguments that the author proposes in their papers. A similarity index of up to 15% is allowed. Any entry that exceeds the proposed limit of the similarity index will be rejected by the magazine.
