ABOUT WBNUJS

WBNUJS was established under the National University of Juridical Sciences Act of 1999, and it officially started functioning in 2000. It was set up to promote legal education and research in India. The university boasts a highly qualified and experienced faculty, many of whom are leading experts in their respective fields of law. Their expertise contributes significantly to the quality of legal education provided at NUJS. While it covers various fields of law, very recently, it became the first National Law University in India to offer Master and Doctoral degrees in Forensic Sciences. This year it took one more historical step forward as it has started B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) in Criminology and Forensic Science as the first course of its kind in India.

Selected contributions may be included in conference proceedings or featured in special journal issues, thus contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and advancing our shared objectives.
