About the Comeptition
The competition is a 7-day mega event with ADRCC and Law fest of the Department of Law organized annually. The 4th edition is scheduled to be held from 11th March- 23rd March 2024. The fest will host various academic, literary & cultural competitions that will witness the participation of students from law schools and universities pan-India. Justice J S Verma Memorial ADR & Client Counselling Competition seeks to encourage the effective use of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and to promote an open exchange of ideas, experience & technical know-how between students and legal professionals. The competition aims to combine the use of ADR and collaborative problem-solving skills of law students so as to successfully represent the litigating interests of parties and thus, proceed toward conflict resolution. We believe that this competition will foster an enviornment of understanding and encourage students to adopt better and faster means of dispute resolution.
