Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Associate located in Delhi, India. The Legal Associate will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, assisting with legal issues, and communicating with clients and other legal professionals. The Legal Associate will also be involved in other day-to-day tasks associated with working in a law firm.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Indian law and legal systems
  • Conduct thorough legal research on banking laws, regulations, and industry practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and changes in banking, stamp duty, TPA laws, etc.
  • Experience with legal document preparation Title/Legal Search reports, Post Disbursal Diligence (PDD), Original Document Verification (ODV), Legal Audits, Legal Vetting, and other related tasks.
  • Analytical skills to review complex legal documents and data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and under tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in preparing Title/Legal Search reports, PDD, ODC, Legal Audit, Legal Vetting, and other relevant tasks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law
  • Master’s degree in Law, with a specialisation in banking law and/or real estate law is a plus
  • Minimum of one year of experience in banking law or a related field.
