ABOUT B.M.S. COLLEGE OF LAW  :
B.M.S. College of Law was established in the year 1963 by Sri. B.S.
Narayan, Donor Trustee, BMSET, under the aegis of B.M. Sreenivasaiah
Educational Trust. The Trust is named after Dharmaprakasha
Rajakaryaprasaktha Sri. B.M. Sreenivasaiah, whose vision laid the
foundation for the first private Engineering College in the State of
Karnataka. B.M.S.C.L is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University,
Hubballi (KSLU) and is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

CALL FOR PAPERS :
Contributions are invited from Academicians,
Professionals, Researchers, Advocates, Research Scholars
and Students from law and related backgrounds.
Authors of selected abstracts shall be allowed to present
their papers during the National Conference. Best paper
presenters will be awarded cash prizes and selected
papers will be published in the B.M.S.C.L Journal of Law.
Best Paper will also be published in the Manupatra
Article Portal.

TIMELINE :

Last date for Abstract Submission:15 February, 2024
Acceptance of Abstract Submitted: 17 February, 2024
Last date to make Payment: 19 February, 2024
Last date for Full Paper Submission: 26 February, 2024
Date of Conference: 02 March, 2024

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: 

ABSTRACT:
(a) Abstract shall be within the word limit of 250-500
words. (word format)
(b) Font Style and Font Size: Times New Roman, 12, Line
spacing 1.5 and Alignment ‘justify’.
(c) The abstract should mention the following specific
details on the front page:
Title of the Submission, Name of the Author, Affiliation,
Designation, Contact Number and Email ID.
(d)Abstracts are to be submitted through the provided
Google form.

RESEARCH PAPER:
(a) Original papers can be submitted in any of the
above-mentioned themes, but are not restricted to the
sub-theme as given.
(b) The paper can be co-authored. However, a maximum
of one co-author per entry is allowed.
(c) The author(s) shall specify in their submission:
Title of the Paper :
Sub-theme under which submission is made.
Name of author(s).
Name of the Institution.
Email address and contact number.

(d) The abstract and the Research Paper should be
submitted in doc/docx format with the following
specification:
Length of the Research Paper: 4000 – 6000 words.
Font style: Times New Roman
Font size: 12 pts
Line spacing: 1.5
Footnotes:
Font style: Times New Roman
Font size: 10 pts
Line spacing: 1
The margin is to be 1 inch on all sides.
Citation: 21st Bluebook Citation to be followed
uniformly.

(e) All submissions should be original and non-plagiarized work and should not have been submitted
for publication/published elsewhere in any form.

(g) Any diversion from the above is subject to the
approval of the organizers.

Upon confirmation of selected papers, the google form
shall be provided to submit the full paper.

The Conference will be held in Hybrid Mode.
