The Society for Constitutional Law Discussion (TSCLD) is hosting an online National Seminar, open for submissions until March 25th, 2024.

We invite undergraduate/postgraduate students from all over India to submit well-researched papers on contemporary developments in Constitutional Law.

1️⃣ Privacy and Data Protection:
– Privacy, Surveillance, and Security
– Right to be Forgotten
– Significance of Consent in Data Protection Regime
– Data Localization and Cross-Border Flow of Data

2️⃣ Fundamental Rights:
– Sub-categorization in Scheduled Castes
– Anti-Defection Law: Legal and Ethical Implications
– Legal Landscape of Same-Sex Marriages
– Supreme Court’s verdict on Electoral Bonds
– Freedom of Assembly and Protest with emphasis on the Farmers’ Protest

3️⃣ Federalism:
– Inter-State Water Disputes and Cooperative Governance
– Constitutional Amendments and Centre-State Relations
– Constitutional Rights and Governance in Crisis
– Fiscal Federalism and Revenue Sharing Mechanisms
– Federalism and Environmental Governance

The list is only indicative and not exhaustive. Any other topic related to the Seminar theme may also be submitted.
