The firm’s practice includes all aspects of IP laws, including litigation and anti-counterfeiting, patents and designs, trademarks and copyrights, emerging IP rights, commercialization, and transactional IP.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Litigation Associate. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, appearing in courts and representing clients in all aspects of litigation. The Associate shall also be responsible for providing assistance in other areas of IP practice, such as patents, trademarks, and copyrights, as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior IP Litigation Experience: 2-3 years
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Experience in drafting court pleadings as well as legal opinions
- Ability to appear before Courts and represent clients in all aspects of litigation
- Experience in attending hearings before the IPO (Prosecution and Opposition)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Experience in IP laws, litigation, or related fields is a plus
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized university
