We are presently looking for Senior Associates for our M&A and General Corporate practice in Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru location.
Experience required in minimum 5+ years in a reputed corporate law firm and/or as an in-house counsel.
Job profile-
- Serve as an experienced legal advisor to clients across industries on a range of legal services and offerings;
- Advising, coordinating and problem solving for clients on various cross-jurisdictional matters across a broad range of industries, providing regulatory advice related to business transactions and investments such as M&A, FBL, BOI, recommendations on suitable business structure, drafting and reviewing agreements and other documents, assisting clients in applying for necessary approvals and license;
- Drafting, reviewing, vetting and negotiating various agreements such as share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, technology transfer agreements, joint venture agreements etc.
- Practical knowledge and experience of the Companies Act, SEBI laws, and FEMA compliances applicable to Indian companies;
- Monitor and convey to client’s information regarding technical developments as well as their application to legal issues.
- Supervise and aid in the recruitment, appraisal, development and training of junior associates.
