ABOUT CHOTANAGPUR LAW COLLEGE
The Chotanagpur Law College, Ranchi was established in 1954. It is registered under section 2 (f)& 12(B) of the UGC Act 1956 and it is also accredited with B++ from National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). It holds the distinction of being one of the oldest and most esteemed legal institution in Jharkhand. Initially it was affiliated with Bihar University, and later became permanently affiliated with Ranchi University, Ranchi.
KEY THEMES
- The Holistic Nature of Law in the Bharatiya Tradition: To explore the unique perspective of ancient Indian law, where law is not just a set of rules, but a comprehensive guide for ethical, moral, and social well-being.
- Relevance of Ancient Indian Law in the Modern World: To examine the enduring impact of ancient Indian legal principles on modern legal systems and education.
GUIDELINES FOR PAPER SUBMISSIONS
- The Paper should range from 5000-8000 Words.
- Footnotes should be in Bluebook 20th/21st Edition.
- The themes are broadly suggestive. The author may write on any topic relevant to the theme of the Workshop.
- Submissions should be in:
- Times New Roman, 12 font size with 1.5 line spacing, justified text, and 1-inch margins on all sides of an A4 sheet.
- Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, 10-font size with 1.0 line spacing.
- Endnotes and/or Bibliography and in-text citations are not allowed.
- Headings should follow the following standard.
- Title of the submission: Upper-case, bold, font size – 14 Headings: Upper-case, bold, font size – 14
- Sub-Headings: Title-case, bold, font size – 12
- Sub-Sub-Heading: Title-case, italics, font size – 12
- The submission must be the original work of the author and must not have been submitted elsewhere or pending review. Co-authorship up to a limit of two is allowed.
- Authors are instructed to use footnotes only.
- The manuscript should be accompanied with the author’s name, designation, name of institute, contact number and e-mail for future reference and correspondence.
- Avoid AI-generated content; all submissions must be original work by the authors.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring that the content submitted for publication is primarily the result of human effort, with AI-generated content limited to a maximum of 10%.
