We’re thrilled to announce that the Winter/Spring 2024 issue of the Journal of Territorial and Maritime Studies (JTMS) has been published! This issue features a collection of excellent articles exploring a wide range of timely territorial and maritime issues. We would also like readers to note that we have a new email address. Call for Papers: Winter/Spring 2025 Issue
While the deadline for submissions to the Summer/Fall 2024 issue has passed, we’re already looking ahead to the Winter/Spring 2025 issue. JTMS is an interdisciplinary Journal of research on territorial and maritime issues providing an academic medium for the announcement and dissemination of research results the fields of security studies, history, international law, international relations, geography, peace studies, and other relevant disciplines. The journal covers all continental areas across the world from a variety of disciplinary and methodological perspectives. Practical studies as well as theoretical works, which contribute to a better understanding of territorial and maritime issues, are also encouraged. Mark your calendars! The deadline to submit your research for possible publication is September 1, 2024.

Call for Blog Submissions
The JTMS blog is calling for submissions. This forum is intended to discuss topics related to recent territorial and maritime news, research, and policy. It is hoped that this blog will help bring fresh perspective on how to deal with territorial and maritime issues and the complexities these issues present. Those wishing to submit a blog post can send their post of no more than 2000 words to along with the author’s contact info, bio, and recent photo. We also welcome submissions from graduate students.
