Call for Submissions

The Centre for Development Policy and Practice (CDPP) welcomes article submissions from undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and PhD scholars that explore topics related to development and policy issues. We invite contributors from all academic levels to share their perspectives and insights on the issues that matter most to the community, including but not limited to poverty reduction, gender and development, human rights, and sustainable development goals.

Submission Guidelines:

Length: Articles should be between 800 and 1500 words in length.

Originality: Articles should be original and previously unpublished.

Format: Please submit your article in a Word document format with 12pt Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, with 1-inch margins.

APA Style: All submissions should follow APA 7 style guidelines for in-text citations and references. Please ensure that all sources are properly cited and referenced using footnote style.

Abstract: Please include an abstract of not more than 100 words.

Author Information: Please include a short author bio (maximum 100 words) and a profile picture to accompany your article.

Submission: Please email your submission to [email protected] with the subject line “CDPP Blog Submission.” Please include your article in the body of the email, as well as an attachment. Please submit your Word document named as “author name_topic.” Please ensure that any images or charts are of high quality and are submitted separately in .jpeg or .png format.

Review Process: Once we receive your submission, it will be reviewed by our editorial team. We will aim to respond to selected submissions within 2 weeks of submission. Please note that due to the high volume of submissions we receive, only selected submissions will receive a reply. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for considering the Centre for Development Policy and Practice (CDPP) as a platform for sharing your insightful and thought-provoking articles on development and policy issues.

CDPP reserves the right to edit and/or reject submissions based on our editorial policies and guidelines. We will notify authors of any substantive changes we make to their articles.
