The St. Broseph Foundation is a social services organization that focuses on civic issues, mental health issues, legal awareness, women empowerment, RTI & Advocacy, human rights, labor and employment issues, vocational training and youth affairs. Founded by Dushyant Dubey (St. Broseph), the organization has over 5000 volunteers and 300+ coordinators, and is currently working in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Our work has been featured in numerous media outlets.
Role Description
The St. Broseph Foundation is seeking a full-time Junior Lawyer or a Legal intern to join our team in Bengaluru. The successful candidate will perform a range of duties such as conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, assisting in legal proceedings, and liaising with external parties. The Junior Lawyer/Legal Intern will report to the Head Lawyer assigned to them.
Qualifications
- Completed or pursuing a law degree from a recognized institution
- Familiarity with Indian legal systems and procedures
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting in legal proceedings is a plus
- Fluency in Kannada and English.
The salary scope for this job is between Rs. 5,000/- to Rs. 10,000/- per month depending on the candidate’s skills and experience. The internship is on-site at our office in Indiranagar (near Swami Vivekananda Road Metro station) and the internship period is 3 months (extendable on request).
