Role and Responsibilities:
The Policy and Educational Developments Editors should
- Take ownership for the strategic development of the PED section, in collaboration with the General Editor and Editorial Board.
- Identify the key themes internationally that are relevant to PED and ensure that they maintain an up-to-date awareness of this policy landscape.
- Forge new networks and utilise existing contacts and networks to solicit authors for the PED section.
- Ensure a minimum of two PED articles per print issue (four issues per year) and effectively manage the submission, editing and acceptance of the article through the online submission system (Editorial Manager).
- Liaise with the Social Media Editor and other Board members as appropriate to promote articles that ought to receive particular attention.
- Work in a collegiate manner, co-ordinating their work as part of a team across different time-zones and cultures.
