WWF-India is seeking to onboard a qualified and enthusiastic on-site Intern for its Formal Education vertical. The Intern will support the programme team on the Mission Prakriti programme.
• Mission Prakriti is an experiential environmental education programme implemented across government schools in seven states of India. It enables students to identify and address local environmental challenges through project-based learning, under the guidance of their educators. The initiative nurtures leadership, critical thinking, and environmental stewardship among students, fostering a generation of informed and responsible citizens.
The position will be based out of Secretariat Office, Lodhi Road, New Delhi and requires the candidate to undertake field visits to the government schools.
Educational Qualifications:
Graduate degree from a recognised university Role:
• Work closely with the Mission Prakriti team as well as the overall Education Division and support with field visits to government schools across Delhi NCR.
• Coordinate with educators, schools, and other relevant stakeholders for Mission Prakriti programme in Delhi.
• Support the WWF-India team in organising capacity building workshops as well as other events under the Mission Prakriti programme for educators, students, and government officials in Delhi.
• Assist with report writing, office documentation, and data management.
• Develop social media posts and communication materials for the programme.
• Support with documentation of the school visits for the development of Butterfly Garden in 10 government schools.
What to Expect
• Working hours: Work from Office, 5 days a week (approximately 40 hours a week)
• Duration: 3 months
• Renumeration: Rs. 10,000 per month
• Job Location: WWF-India, Secretariat Office, Lodhi Road, New Delhi
• Local travel to field sites
