About RGNUL
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab, was established by the State Legislature of Punjab by passing the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab Act, (Punjab Act No. 12 of 2006). The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in Punjab, thereby fulfilling the need for a Centre of Excellence in legal education in the modern era of globalization and liberalization.
About the Course
Data is the new oil as they say it and has become an important asset for the organisations.Technology is acting as a double-edged sword. It is imperative to focus on protection of data. Therefore, this course has been designed to make students understand the data privacy laws around the globe and how Indian laws are shaping up.
This course will equip students with recent data privacy laws present across the globe like GDPR, CCPA, Canadian Data Privacy Law. Also, this course will further help student in enhancing the knowledge of Indian Data Privacy Laws and regulation like Information Technology Act, its rules and upcoming The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill.

All academicians, Practitioners, Researchers, and Students (across disciplines) are invited to join the Credit Course.

Mode: The lectures will be conducted in blended mode through online lectures and classroom teaching. Cisco Webex will be used for organising the lectures.
Duration: August to November 2023
Commencement of Lectures: 12-13 August 2023 onwards (All sessions will take place during weekends)

He is also a speaker at various forums on Risk & Governance and Forensic Audit. He has work experience with Johnsons Controls, KPMG India, PWC India, EY Dubai and TKT & CO.
