Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated law interns to join our team and gain practical exposure to the legal profession. As a law intern at Vasu Law Firm, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced lawyers on a variety of legal matters, allowing you to develop your skills, expand your legal knowledge, and gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a prominent law firm.
Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research on various topics and assist in preparing legal Petitions, briefs, and other documents.
Assist in drafting legal contracts, agreements, and other legal documents under the guidance of senior attorneys.
Participate in case discussions and strategy sessions to contribute insights and ideas.
Help in preparing for client consultations, including organizing relevant documents and research materials.
Assist in maintaining and organizing the firm’s legal library and knowledge resources.
Support lawyers in administrative tasks related to legal cases, such as document filing, case tracking, and correspondence.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver legal presentations, workshops, or seminars.
Stay up-to-date with recent legal developments, judgments, and regulatory changes.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by supervising lawyers or the firm’s management.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B.) from a recognized law school.
Strong academic record and a genuine interest in various legal fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficient in legal research techniques and the use of legal databases.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in legal work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Professionalism, integrity, and respect for confidentiality.
Prior internship experience in a law firm or legal setting is a plus.
