Policy Formulation and Design: Examine the processes and considerations involved in crafting
policies, including the role of government agencies, expert input, public engagement, and political
influences.

Policy Implementation and Enforcement: Explore the challenges and complexities of translating
policies into action, including issues related to bureaucracy, regulation, and compliance.
Legal Foundations of Policy: Investigate the legal underpinnings of policymaking, including
constitutional law, administrative law, and international law, and their impact on policy
development.

Judicial Review and Policy: Analyze the role of the judiciary in reviewing and influencing
policies through landmark legal decisions, with a focus on case studies from various jurisdictions.
Legislative Processes: Examine how legislative bodies contribute to policy development, the role
of legislative drafting, and the interactions between lawmakers and policymakers.

Policy Evaluation and Impact Assessment: Discuss methods and practices for evaluating the
effectiveness and impact of policies, including cost-benefit analysis and social impact assessment.

Emerging Policy Challenges: Address contemporary policy challenges, such as technology

and public opinion in shaping policies and influencing legal decisions.

International Policy and Law: Investigate the intersection of domestic policy and international

Ethical Considerations: Discuss ethical dilemmas and considerations in policymaking and law,
including questions of justice, equity, and human rights.

Submission Procedure and Guidelines:

Abstract: The paper should contain an abstract at the beginning, in 350-500 words clearly
indicating the research problem, the methodology adopted in the research, approach and the
relevance of the research.
Keywords: Five keywords are to be provided along with the abstract.
Title Page: The abstract should also contain a page for the Title of the paper along with the details
of the author and the co-author (if any) should be sent in a separate word document.
Author and Co-Authorship: The details of both the authors are to be given only in a separate
word document and the rest of the manuscript should not contain any author- identifying
information. Co-authorship is permissible up to two authors only.
Citation Format: Please use footnotes rather than endnotes. Footnotes should comply with The
Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th ed. 2015).
Language: English
Word Limit:
In a full-length research article, the limit is about 8000 words.
In a Case or Legislative comment, the limit is about 4000 words.
These limits are inclusive of any references, tables, exhibits, and appendices.
Format: The paper shall be submitted in word document (.doc or .docx) format only

beginning with “Online Submission” and including the author’s name.
Please attach your submission as a Microsoft Word document and include a recent resume or CV.
Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.
The receipt of submission shall be acknowledged to the author within a reasonable time.

The last date for submission is 15th March 2024 by 11:59 pm (IST).
