“The Gdańsk Journal of East Asian Studies” [Gdańskie Studia Azji Wschodniej] is a peerreviewed, scientific journal of the Centre for East Asian Studies at the University of Gdańsk, that had been published since 2012 by Gdańsk University Press. In Poland, “The Gdańsk Journal of East Asian Studies” is one of the two leading academic journals concentrating on the countries of East Asia – mainly China, Japan, and both the Koreas, hut also on other Asian regions. The subject matter of the articles covers all aspects related to research into and understanding of those countries, for example, law, the state, politics, economics, history, culture, philosophy, and literature.
The journal’s interdisciplinary character aims to bring both Polish and non-Polish readers closer to the countries of East Asia. The special issue of the journal is dedicated to the subject of Cultural Heritage Law and Protection in Asia.
Therefore, we cordially invite scholars, lawyers and professionals to submit their contributions to our journal articles up to 40,000 characters. The decision whether the text will be published in the journal will be taken on the basis of double-blind review.
Important Dates-
Preliminary title of the contribution should be given by: February 10, 2024.
Deadline for submission of contributions is: April 30, 2024.
