This session aims to delve into the intricate intersections of various social identities and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of diversity and its implications in today’s contexts.

Details of the Speaker

The webinar will feature Ms Prerna Vats, a distinguished PhD Scholar at Ambedkar University, New Delhi (AUD) as the guest speaker. She is known for her collaborative and intersectional approach to teaching and has received the AUD Merit Research Fellowship for her PhD. Ms. Vats has presented her research at significant conferences such as the 19th IUAES – World Anthropology Congress and the MetaECHO Conference and has published works on the intersection of sexuality and disability. Her research focuses on sexuality education among Indian adolescents. Currently, she is working on a Gender Equity Teacher Training Program with Project ECHO.
