JGLS will be organizing the Inaugural JGLS-Khaitan & Co Negotiation Competition 2024 (Competition) at the JGU campus from February 9-11, 2024.

Qualifier Rounds: 10 Feb, 2024
Semi-Finals and Finals: 11 Feb, 2024
Eligibility
Any team of law students enrolled in the 5-year/3-year law Programme in India and registered in their respective Institutions as full-time students for the Current Academic Year [2023-2024].
Team Composition
Only 1 negotiating team comprising of 2members can participate in the Negotiation Plan Round.
Registration Fee
There is no registration fee for the Competition. Selected teams will be provided food and accommodation for all the days of the Competition.
Steps involved in participating in the Competition:
(i) First, fill up the provisional registration form set forth here
Deadline to fill up the form is October 8, 2023. The provisional registration form is a confirmation of the intention of participation of a College/University/Institution and hence the respective Committee Heads/Teams are requested to fill the same by the mentioned date. Please ensure that ONLY ONE RESPONSE to the form is received from your Institution.
(ii) Second, submit negotiation plans between October 10-17, 2023. The negotiation plan round problem will be released to all the provisionally registered teams at 8:00 AM on October 10, 2023. The deadline for the submission of the negotiation plans for both sides will be 11:59 PM on October 17, 2023. The scoring criteria and other specifications have been exhaustively detailed in the Policy Document attached to this email.
(iii) Third, the top 16 teams from the negotiation plan round will be invited to compete in-person in the oral negotiation rounds at JGU from February 9 -11, 2024. The 16 teams will have to fill in the final registration form confirming their participation in-person along with other necessary details of the team (which will be circulated separately once the teams are selected).
